Trsteno is famous for the first renaissance park in Croatia- today`s Arboretum. The park was founded in 1502 by the Dubrovnik aristocratic family Gučetić- Gozze around their summer manor. Today, Arboretum prides itself with numerous Mediterranean, tropical and subtropical plants. You will be amazed by two big Oriental Plane trees that stand at the entrance of the village.

Ston is one of the first European towns built according to an urban-planning plan. It is situated at the beginning of the peninsula of Pelješac. It is known

for its 5 km long city walls, which are called the little Chinese walls of Europe, as well as for its salt pans, which were used by the Republic of Dubrovnik, and are still in use today. Ston is known for the oyster and mussel production as well. Here, you will be served a nice sea food platter.
