Full day excursion The island of Korčula is one of the largest Croatian islands, and it undoubtedly holds a special place among them. The island has been settled from the early times. Its dense forests led the original Greek settlers to name it Korkyra Melania or Black Korčula. The old town of Korčula is a perfect example of a well preserved town-fort, where the legends and tales intertwine with historic facts. The island is allegedly the birth place of the famous seafarer Marco Polo. After a walking tour during which you will have the opportunity to explore its beautiful narrow streets, magnificent palaces and churches, you can use your free time for shopping, eating or even swimming. We arrive to Korčula by fast ferry sailing between the beautiful Elaphiti islands and the Adriatic coast.
